Peixe-boi foi resgatado ap\u00f3s encalhar em praia no litoral do RN<br \/>\nUm filhote de peixe-boi foi resgatado na manh\u00e3 desta quarta-feira (5) ap\u00f3s encalhar na praia de Santa Rita, em Extremoz, na Grande Natal.  Segundo o Minist\u00e9rio do Meio Ambiente, a esp\u00e9cie \u00e9 considerada amea\u00e7ada de extin\u00e7\u00e3o. (Veja v\u00eddeo).<br \/>\nO animal foi encontrado por bombeiros e banhistas, que acionaram o Centro de Estudos e Monitoramento Ambiental (Cemam) para realizar o resgate.<br \/>\n\ud83d\udcf3Participe do canal do g1 RN no WhatsApp<br \/>\nNo local, a equipe t\u00e9cnica do Cemam avaliou a sa\u00fade do filhote, verificando sinais vitais e n\u00edvel de desidrata\u00e7\u00e3o. O animal foi atendido e levado para a reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o para passar por um processo intensivo de cuidados.<br \/>\nSegundo o Cemam, a reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o de peixes-bois pode levar de tr\u00eas a quatro anos, &#8220;per\u00edodo necess\u00e1rio para que o filhote desenvolva as habilidades necess\u00e1rias para retornar ao seu habitat natural com seguran\u00e7a&#8221;.<br \/>\nO Centro de Estudos refor\u00e7ou ainda que, al\u00e9m do resgate, a reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 tida como importante para a conserva\u00e7\u00e3o da esp\u00e9cie.<br \/>\n&#8220;A cada indiv\u00edduo salvo, aumenta-se a chance de recupera\u00e7\u00e3o populacional desses mam\u00edferos marinhos, que desempenham um papel crucial no equil\u00edbrio dos ecossistemas costeiros&#8221;, citou, em nota, o Cemam.<br \/>\nO Centro de Estudos e Monitoramento Ambiental atua de forma volunt\u00e1ria no resgate e monitoramento da megafauna marinha no litoral oriental do RN.<br \/>\nPeixe-boi foi resgatado em Santa Rita, no litoral Norte do RN<br \/>\nDivulga\u00e7\u00e3o\/Cemam<br \/>\nV\u00eddeos mais assistidos do g1 RN<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Esp\u00e9cie \u00e9 considerada amea\u00e7ada de extin\u00e7\u00e3o.
